I recently discovered your wonderful blog and wanted to take the time to write and thank you.

I am a Londoner who has been living in most unwilling exile in Ankara, Turkey, for many years now.

But your blogs take me home, or as near as home as I can get, for a few happy minutes.

I used to walk around for hours and hours, just as you do now. So thank you again for allowing me to accompany you on these trips and enjoy a fleeting taste of home.

    Please, please keep them coming.

Thank you very much for your positive comments on my blog. It’s good to know that others derive interest and pleasure from it as I do.

I’m sorry to know that you are separated unwillingly from the London that you love. If my posts lighten your gloom slightly, then that is a bonus as far as I am concerned.

I just found your blog, thanks to a picture of Bleeding Heart Court. I’ve been in love with London (and England) for almost my whole life, and it’s such a pleasure to read it and see those lovely photos! I’ll surely follow you. I can’t wait to read all the post I’ve missed.

    Thank you!

Enjoyed your blog and pictures very much from my exile in the Isle of Wight! Well, not too faraway but trips to London nowadays are expensive when one combines hotel and railfares. I lived in Highbury for years but haven’t been there now for about 12 years. Your blog and pictures take me back, so thank you.
