We arrived home Saturday evening, unpacked and spent a relaxed evening pretending we were still on holiday.
Next day, we breakfasted in the Alpino cafe in Chapel Market and then I went off to Chingford to fetch Freya home from her holiday accommodations. She was quite noisy all the way home on the train and the bus though I don’t think travelling by public transport upsets her nowadays because she has got used to it.
In the afternoon, leaving Freya to look after the flat, we had the laundry to do and carted it all off the the launderette in Marchmont Street.
Today, it was back to the usual routine. Tigger is working a late shift this week but apart from that, life has returned to normal. We have other expeditions to look forward to and I will describe these in due course.
