The doorbell rings and I press the door release; footsteps in the corridor; “Sign and print, please”; the package is handed over; the courier, dressed like a knight in leather armour, departs with a wave of the hand.
Yes, tomorrow we are off again on a courier run. Again we have got tickets at a good price so I can go early with Tigger. Our train is at 7:25 from St Pancras. If we can get down there in time, we’ll have a breakfast of porridge and coffee at the Camden Food Co or take it with us on board the train.
The only problem is the weather. Snow has been forecast. It hasn’t arrived yet; will it arrive tomorrow? Or will we sneak in and out before the snow comes? Time will tell.
Where are we going? To Sheffield again. The firm does a lot of business with Sheffield, it seems. Then again, there is plenty to interest us in and around the famous city. How shall we spend our free time there tomorrow? We’ll wait on the inspiration of the moment.
