If I included every endangered creature in my sidebar, no one would ever get to the end of it. But, happily, I am not the only blogger on the planet: others can pitch in. How about doing so yourself? Maybe ivory could be your cause. I take your point. I could, of course, add something in my sidebar about the illegal ivory trade. Presumably, you meant the <i>legal</i> ivory trade. Sadly, a quick search of the Web reveals that the ivory trade is still very much alive today.
